The Hive: A workspace with flexibility and workspitality

The Hive Workplace in Mangalkhan, Floréal is a new Rs150 million project offering co-working spaces to self-employed, SMEs, freelancers, corporates, or students. Developed with the new working lifestyle requirements, it aims at providing amenities and activities that plug perfectly into an ideal working day. 

These flexible workspaces cater for a new working lifestyle that allows the various players to interact and collaborate whilst positively impacting the local community. It integrates several facilities such as a coworking for kids, a wellness and healthcare centre, a restaurant, and a coffee area - all set to offer the opportunity to give life to dreams. 

Sustainable lifestyle 

The concept is quite simple. It offers over 10,000m2 co-working spaces, meeting rooms and flexible office spaces such as open space for day-pass, coworking membership and dedicated desk; private space for day use office, private office and enterprise; meeting space for meeting rooms, work lofts and events. 

The project and its design are from the Jugaad team, an ambitious, talented and innovative placemaking and architecture agency, whose motto is to define, design and activate better places and sustainable lifestyles.

Office rental rates start from Rs396/ m2, inclusive of service charges. The aim is to provide practical and affordable space for businesses to flourish with the ability to tailor the space available to suit all needs and provide all the necessary support in areas ranging from 60m2 to 2,000m2. These spaces will be available from September 2022. 

This project was conceived when to develop its assets portfolio, CIEL Properties decided to refurbish the old Floreal Knitwear factory of Mangalkhan and created a next-generation urban destination for businesses in the centre of the island. The Hive, leader in flexi-office paces in Mauritius was appointed to promote and operate the workspace.
