FDI into Mauritius Real Estate reaches Rs 27.6 billion for 2022

According to statistics published by the Economic Development Board of Mauritius, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into real estate activities during the year of 2022 reached Rs 27.6 billion.

From which Rs 15.4 billion flowed into general real estate activities, and Rs 11.3 billion directly into registered residential schemes such as IRS/RES/IHS/PDS/SCS. A record of 502 individual sales were recorded during the 2022 period for these schemes.
