PropertyCloud.mu is proud to announce that entries are now officially open for the fourth annual Mauritius Real Estate Awards. If you are a developer, an estate agency, an individual agent, a lender, an architect or a business doing innovation or sustainability work in property, this invitation is for you. Entries close on 31 October 2026.
The 2026 edition is the largest so far: 15 categories across four pillars, up from 11 awards in 2025. This year the awards go beyond finished developments and agency performance to recognise the mortgage lenders, architects, innovators and sustainability practitioners whose work sits behind every project. The new Industry pillar gives them categories of their own for the first time.
“After three editions, the industry feedback indicated that the awards needed to reach beyond projects and agencies,” says Bryan Wester, Managing Director of PropertyCloud.mu. “The new categories recognise the lenders, architects, innovators and sustainability practitioners whose work is helping to shape Mauritius’ built environment.”
Four Pillars, 15 Categories
• Residential: Residential Project of the Year for the International Market, Residential Project of the Year for the Local Market, and Morcellement Project of the Year.
• Commercial: Mixed-Use Project of the Year, Retail Project of the Year and Office Project of the Year.
• Industry: Mortgage Provider of the Year, Property Innovation Award, Architectural Design Award and Sustainability Award.
• Estate Agents: Agency of the Year by Revenue, Agency of the Year by Transactions, Agency of Choice by Lead Generation, Individual Agent of the Year by Gross Sales Value and Individual Agent of the Year by Transactions.
The Pursuit of Excellence
Entries within the Residential, Commercial and Industry pillars undergo a rigorous evaluation by an independent panel of sector experts, who score each project on design and innovation, scale and scope, sustainability and community impact, and market impact. Each panellist must declare any conflict of interest before scoring, and external auditors oversee the panel itself, so a winning entry stands on its merits and nothing else.
The Estate Agents categories are settled on verified data rather than a score. Agency of the Year by Revenue rests on filed financial accounts, the transaction and gross sales value awards on certified transaction schedules, and Agency of Choice on PropertyCloud.mu platform data.
What You Need to Enter
Entering is straightforward. Register at propertycloud.mu/awards with your Business Registration Number and your supporting documents in PDF. Projects that have not started construction are not eligible. The three finalists in each category will be notified in November, and the winners will be revealed only on the gala night.
A Night of Elegance
The gala celebration takes place on Thursday 3 December 2026 at the InterContinental Resort Mauritius, Balaclava. It is the night the sector gathers to see who takes each category and to applaud the people behind the work.
Building on 2025
