Identity Rebrand for Compagnie de Beau Vallon

Compagnie de Beau Vallon Limitée officially rebrands to Groupe Beau Vallon, uniting four business segments—Beau Vallon Agri-Business, Beau Vallon Property, Beau Vallon Hospitality, and the upcoming Beau Vallon Leisure—under a single banner. This transformation reflects the journey's evolution and a dynamic vision for the future.

“The Compagnie de Beau Vallon has undergone a true transformation over the past 15 years, evolving from a traditional sugar company into a diversified group in tourism and hospitality, real estate, non-sugar agriculture, and leisure,” says Thierry Merven, CEO of Groupe Beau Vallon. “However, this name change represents more than just a facade change; it marks a strategic milestone in our journey. This new identity strengthens us, brings our teams closer, and allows us to face the future with confidence. United and consolidated, we will be better equipped to address future challenges in an ever-evolving economic landscape,” continues Thierry Merven.

Today, Groupe Beau Vallon is thriving thanks to the successful diversification of its four business segments and activities:

Beau Vallon Agri-Business
The group’s historical activity, sugarcane, still occupies 1800 hectares of land. Agricultural diversification includes potatoes, of which Beau Vallon is one of the island’s largest producers, onions, orchards, nurseries for ornamental plants, deer meat, and biomass production on 200 hectares for electricity generation.

Beau Vallon Property
With more than 3000 residential lots completed to date in around fifteen subdivisions, several agricultural plots, and two flagship projects: the Pointe d’Esny Le Village PDS project behind Pointe d’Esny and the Berges de Beau Vallon, a mixed-use commercial and residential project at the entrance to Mahébourg.

Beau Vallon Hospitality
The group owns and manages three establishments located on the coastal lagoon: Le Preskil Island Resort, a 4-star superior hotel, and the boutique hotel Astroea Beach in Pointe d’Esny; Solana Beach, a 4-star hotel on the East Coast in Belle Mare.

Beau Vallon Leisure
The group’s newest business sector, currently under development, will primarily focus on the hinterland and the group’s rich heritage for its development. Eco-tourism and sports leisure activities will be prioritized.
