From 2002 to 2023, the government of Mauritius has been working towards attracting more and more foreign investors to Mauritius while enhancing the image of Mauritius as a premium destination to settle for business or apply for permanent residence.
- Integrated Resort Scheme (IRS)
Enables foreigners to buy luxury residential units within integrated resorts offering high-end amenities like golf courses, spas, and private beaches.
- Real Estate Scheme (RES)
Allows foreigners to buy properties including residential units, commercial spaces, and integrated communities with no minimum investment.
- Invest Hotel Scheme (IHS)

- G+2 Amendments
Recent amendments to regulations simplify the process for non-citizens to buy property in buildings with at least 2 floors above ground
- Property Development Scheme (PDS)
