Ciel Group, a major multi-sector player in the local economy, has unveiled a transition in leadership with current Chief Executive Officer Jean-Pierre Dalais to step down as from 1 July 2024. Jean-Pierre Dalais will continue his involvement at Ciel Group as Vice Chairman of the Board, while preparing to assume the role of Chairman as from 1 July 2025.
The Board of Directors have announced the appointment of Guillaume Dalais as the new CEO to take over from the designated date . Guillaume Dalais has an in-depth knowledge of the Group’s activities, having been part of it for 15 years, and most recently as CEO of CIEL Properties - the real estate cluster of CIEL Group.
CIEL Properties currently has Rs 1.8 billion of assets under management, and will now be led by Jean Noël Wong W.
The conglomerate's group turnover stood at Rs 35.4 billion as of June 30 2023 while employing 37,500 staff across its 10 countries of operations.
